The short version

ChatBook makes your book inside your browser, on your device. Your files are never uploaded: we have no server that could receive them, and we never see messages, names, dates and any photos in the export.

What we do not collect

• No account and no sign-up.
• No uploads of a chat export (WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, Messenger or Instagram).
• No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies.

What stays on your device

Your browser keeps a few small items so the app works next time:

• your unlock key
• the theme you picked

Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes them. They are never sent to us.

What leaves your device, and when

• Loading the website: the service that hosts our files sees the usual technical details of any web request, such as your IP address and browser type, and may keep them in short-lived logs.
• Buying: the checkout is run by our payment partner (Dodo Payments or Polar), our merchant of record. It collects your name, email, country and payment details to take the payment, charge the right tax and send your receipt, under its own privacy policy shown at checkout. We receive your order details (email, country, product, amount) so we can help you and give refunds. We never see your card or bank details.
• Unlocking: the app sends your key to our payment partner (Dodo Payments or Polar)'s license service to check it is valid. Nothing else goes with it.

Your choices

To see or delete the order details we hold, email contact@proserviq.com from the address you bought with. Payment records are kept by our payment partner (Dodo Payments or Polar) as the law requires.
